Prayer Retreat The Michigan District will be hosting a Prayer Retreat on August
27-28, 2010 at Brown City Campground. Several presenters will share their
passion for prayer, along with practical ides for becoming a person of prayer.

Church Picnic Sign up @ the church to bring a dish to pass to the church picnic
on Sunday, August 29 after the morning service. Pig Roast! Beverage and
table service will also be provided.

Hospice Volunteers Needed McLaren Visiting Nurse & Hospice is looking for
teens, young adults, middle-age, and retirees who have a few extra hours
available each month and are searching for a meaningful volunteer experience.
Training classes for new volunteers are being offered starting September. Contact
the church for details.
